How to Use Bad Spot
-
1. Prep
Prepare the area you want to grow grass by removing dead grass and loosening hard soil to help tiny seedlings root.
-
2. Apply
Evenly apply Bad Spot® so the area is mostly covered, but bare ground is still visible so the seed contacts the soil. (Use half as much for thin areas). Only apply the recommended amount so that the seedlings have enough space to access water and nutrients. The seed germinates best when daytime temperatures are between 60° and 80° F.
-
3. Water
A deep and thorough initial watering is the key to success. Gently water the area until Bad Spot!® is completely saturated and no more water is being absorbed (this may take several minutes). Avoid pooling water. When Bad Spot!® begins to turn light brown, it’s time to water again. Keep kids, pets, and lawn mowers off newly planted seedlings until the grass is 3 inches high.

How to Use Good Boy
-
1. Prep
Mow the area to a height of approximately 2 inches or lowest mower setting. Rake or de-thatch to loosen the top layer of soil and remove any dead grass or debris.
-
2. Apply
Evenly apply Good Boy® over existing lawn (1lb of product covers 100 sq ft).
-
3. Water
Water daily or as needed to keep soil surface moist for the first 2 weeks. Resume mowing when lawn reaches desired mowing height.
